It is my pleasure to offer a letter of reference for Imre Filo [Owner of Build For Me Construction].

I first met Imre in 1991 at which time he was employed as an apprentice carpenter with Jack Gutz Contracting. That year he was involved in the foundation and framing of two homes for me.
In 1993 Jack Gutz was in the process of starting another “lock-up” project for me when Jack unexpectedly passed away leaving Imre on his own. Imre completed the contract, doing the carpentry and service connections. Imre continued with his own company and obtained his journeyman ticket.

It has been my pleasure to have known Imre Filo since about 1992. Imre worked on several of my residential and commercial projects where he was foreman, contractor and primary carpenter. His work was always of excellent quality and the work was done efficiently and in a timely manner; he outperformed any and all of the finishing carpenters I have come to know over 20 years in the industry. Imre was practical, but also creative in his projects; he was patient but required quality work from his subordinates.

Imre has been great. Very honest and consultative. So far the work has gone well. The only deviation to plan has been caused by us not buying things in time or by things in the wall that couldn't have been forseen. Will update after the project and final bills are in... We are almost done now. Imre is a craftsman and does great work - his floor guy, Matt, his tile guy, Kevin, his cabinet guy, Terry, and Carlos, the granite genius, all did outstanding work....the painter has been something of a problem and a pain in the butt. We'll have to see how this problem works itself out. We would have no trouble recommending Imre to anyone.

Imre and his team worked on my house back in 2008, renovating 2 bathrooms and remodeling the basement area. The work was done to a very high standard, with minimal disruption as Imre made sure that the activity was contained to the specific area of work, and the rest of the house was kept in good order.
